Production Supervisor - Roto Moulding

Location:Scoresby, Melbourne VIC

Position:Full time

Hours:7am - 4pm, Monday to Friday

Skills, experience, and role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Production Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Roto-Moulding manufacturing plant.
  • Supervising production activities to ensure adherence to quality standards, production volumes, and efficiency targets.
  • Providing leadership and direction to production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
  • Coordinating with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices across all operational areas.
  • Implementing production schedules to meet customer demands and business objectives.
  • Managing inter-company and internal logistics to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Overseeing inventory management and coordinating with the procurement team to support continuous production and minimize downtime.
  • Implementing and maintaining systems for tracking and optimizing material flow within the facility.
Machine Operator

Location:Scoresby, Melbourne VIC

Position:Full time

Hours:7am - 4pm, Monday to Friday

Skills, experience, and role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • A background in production machine operation
  • Must be able to operate hand tools (i.e. router, drill, band saw, linisher, die grinder etc)
  • A current driver’s licence is required
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Have clear verbal and written communication
  • Be physically fit and healthy
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience in operating a Carousel Style Roto-moulding machine desirable but not essential
  • Accurately count and pack production volumes of processed components
  • Precisely process parts with exceptional quality and uniformity
  • Accurately process and fill in paperwork
  • Accurately assemble and pack mechanical components
